Well, here's me starting a blog. The idea of a blog has been attractive for some time now, but I know I lack the kind of commitment it takes to maintain a sucessful one. So here's hoping I'll make the most of it.

I intend on a music blog: stuff I like; stuff I think you will like.

My tastes are rather broad, but not too broad. I generally can't connect with the kind of person who, when asked 'What kind of music do you like?', responds in a manner as such: 'Oh, I'll listen to anything really!'. If you're passionate about music, stop sitting on the fence. Air your passions. Out your obsessions.

I'm the kind of person who will make a mix-tape for anyone who shows any interest in what I'm into, in the hope I'll reach someone on a musical level. For me, music has inspired some amazing friendships. I'm sure I'm not alone in this.

Anyway, I hope I manage to produce a half-decent blog for anyone who cares to read it... or rather hear it.
